I have some exciting news to share with you today and that is - I’ve written a book!
Nowadays, there is no way of escaping cryptocurrencies. They are all around us with new coin’s popping up everyday attracting new investors that have missed the initial bitcoin rally, hoping to strike it rich. ( There are 10 000 coins listed on Coin Gecko alone)
The interesting thing behind crypto is the technology underpinning it, (blockchain ) which truly is revolutionising the way we interact and conduct transactions.
With new technology comes opportunity. Adoption to this technology is happening at an incredible rate. Investors that have missed Bitcoin’s initial run continue to to look for opportunities to strike it rich. Crypto remains largely unregulated and works outside government controls which make it so attractive and at the same time, risky.
There is a woman that has capitalised on all these factors and encouraged people to invest in her new currency called OneCoin. She promised that it would be a crypto currency for ‘the people’ and it would be known as the Bitcoin killer. Well, after pocketing a couple of billion Dollars she called it a day and went to ground - before the FBI could trace her.
Being well connected, she was onto the FBI before they could nab her and has not been seen since. Effectively disappearing with billions and billions of dollars.
This is the fascinating true crime story of Ruja Ignatova. And an insight on what went down:
Oh and she’s still on the run…
Here’s what some readers are saying about the book;

I was very impressed with how this book was presented. I had no real idea how crypto currencies worked (and still don't have full knowledge) but what a great writing. It was very well put together presenting the entire organization of OneCoin and how she fooled so many across the entire globe. This is a must read!

If this isn't a Netflix movie, I'm sure it will be. It's simply fascinating to learn about this woman and her scam. I hope that one day she is caught! I would recommend.
“I really liked the cover and the story I knew it would be fascinating... and it was! You just want to keep turning the pages. I read it very quickly. Whilst its terrible and an awful awful scam, it was a super read. Highly recommend.”
